91x73. 1984. Ruins near Leh. This is the second painting I did at Geidai (Tokyo National University of Fine Art) from sketches I did in Ladakh. I was delighted with the heavy pigments trying to run of the paper just as the eroding Landscape including the earth and stone buildings was "melting" down the mountain.
